Dang nacho, think you could of found a smaller tree to mount that stand on?? All kidding aside, I like the idea of using the pool noodles and camo skirting on the rails, it looks good.

nope, they are all either too big or too small. the big oak keeps tou shaded, dry and very un-seen. a tree that moves with the wind I don't care for, + it's gotta support my wt. thanks for posting the pics Dawgs.

No problem man, thanks again for sending them. Do you lean you stand back at an angle? If so how to you compensate for the distance between the "V-teeth" and the tree trunk? Seems like someone else said they did that. I'd like to for a bit more comfort but the stand leans against the top of the back seat. Anyhow, your stand looks great! Now all you need is an outlet for a pot of coffee :rockon

you can adjust the angle of the platform to the tree by moving the ladder in or out. I like the platform level to slightly upward if anything. so if you drop something it won't roll off. the cable tightener will hug the stand to the tree as tight as you wish and gets tighter as the tree grows. the tree will actually grow around cables and bars of the stand over time, if you let it.

The remingtom ones have the seat slightly further foward and its more comfortable. I got the same looking one from dicks, and the dam back rest it like too foward. Most uncomfortable 2 man stand i ever sat in.
