I have a Limbsaver recoil pad on my 12 guage 870 and it has taken the recoil to an unnoticable level while keeping my muzzle dead on the target for the second round if needed. My daughter has a 20 guage semi-auto that kicks like a mule and I was thinking of getting one of these pads for her. The website says that these pads aren't recommended for semi-autos due to jams. I wanted to know if anyone has used these pads on recoil or gas semi -autos and if they have experienced jams? I can't see how it would effect a gas operated semi-auto.

I'm no engineer, but I just don't see how a recoil pad can affect the action of a gun. Maybe they know more than me. I understand completely how semi's and gas operated work. I don't understand it

I bought one a few years back for my 7mm. It didn't fit the stock, so I threw it in the closet. I put it on my .243 and now that thing is like shooting a 22mag. Should be a pleasure for the kids to shoot with that on there.

I seriously need to get one for my shotgun. Turkey loads really hurt my arm
