Anyone use this scope on there muzzleloader? or hear anything about them? I know leupold is a great scope I'm just curious how it works with the powder loades and BDC.

I have a leupold on my mzld'r, it's not an ultimate though. I'm using the one designed for shotguns/heavy recoil, actualy I have 2 of them, a 1x4 power on the shotgun and a 2x7 on the mzld'r, both with the heavy duplex reticle, its crosshairs are thicker and faster to get on target. plus I don,t need a bdc at ranges under 200 yds plus I like to keep things simple. I've been using leupold almost esclusively for over 20 yrs and like them , never had a problem with any of them. but if I had the money I'd be using german/swiss glass: zeiss, schmidt & bender, leica, swarovsky. not that theres anything wrong with other brands, I do have a nikon 3x9 on a 22 mag, and have used a bushnell light sight I bought in87 and just put it on a friends 270 and the original batteries are still working

Have one on my CVA Accura. Great scope. Like it better than the Nikon Omega because you have the option of setting for 100 gr. of powder or 150 gr. of powder. Deadly accurate on my Accura

fl shooter how is it with loose powder if I wanted to shoot 90 grains of 209? and how is it with close range shots from say 25 yards out to 50?
