this is gonna be going on a ford crown vic, not a 4x4, so it won't be going anywhere too crazy, unless someday I also get a hitch on my pu also. what I'm getting so far is if I have the 1 1/4" receiver that it won't hold more than 350#'s even if you adapt it to 2", is that right? think I'll be checking out harbor freight in new port richey or tractor supply. thanks for the input guys.

yeah get that wimpy hitch, you know you can put a 2" on the crown vic! Or just remove the trunk lid and make it a cartruck
