When I was hunting out of Valdosta I can tell ya that there are plenty of scorpions there. We were finding them in the boxstands all the time. After 1 afternoon hunt I was back at camp and had a sharp sting on my stomach all of a sudden. As soon as I felt it I swatted and out fell a 3" scorpion. I have no idea how it got in my shirt. Got a little nervous but it turned out to not be any worse than a wasp sting.

My hunt camp in N Fl is full of them things. I set off foggers in my camper every trip when I leave. And I spray around all the tables and chairs as soon as I get there
