yea but the thing that scares me is that i have my harness stretched out all the way.. like the end of the belt is almost by the metal piece.. so if i get a hard pull it might slip through.. so what did you do.. climp up your stand and tell the wife to drop the bottom while you were in it..? lol
No I climbed on a ladder maybe 4' off the ground and hooked up my safety harness and had a buddy move the ladder. my feet were only a couple feet from the ground

a couple of beers and i think i would do that also.. hey we should have a tree stand party.. we all get together bring out tree stands and climb up them (not too high) like 3 feet where noone can get hurt then when you feel tipsey test yourharness.. LMAO.. JK.
