Thanks Gary,
But it is painted and hanging on a nail in my garage ready for season. Here is the reply I got from the manufacturer
Allen,
1st, thanks for your purchase of one of our products this past weekend,
we appreciate you very much!
If you want to take the time to wipe the stand down 1st to remove oily
residue and mildly etch the metal prior to painting, vinegar is a known
mild etch fo aluminum. You may use any degreaser such as alcohol, 409,
etc. insterad as a cleaner to help remove fingerprint oils or any other
residue left behind by machining of parts. The best spray paint to use
is a flat enamel (vs. acrylic), such as Rust-o-leum, etc.
Hope this helped, and Good Hunting this season,

Oh yeah you're gonna love that stand! I'm a gunslinger die hard and love mine I don't remember just how I painted mine but it never pealed or anything. I've spent many hours in mine both hunting and sleeping. Enjoy it!

Wipe it down with vinager and prime with Zinc chromate. It dries fast, paint or camo and allow to dry for several days and your set. Should last quite awhile
better late then never???
Where are the pictures of this custom paint job?
