Crock I bought 2 hand held cb radios and a base unit , the guy i got them from said he would boost them to the max, well they didn't receive from the camp ground at rockridge to the entry gate at rockridge greenswamp where the guy is to check your permits, so i got rid of them and still have the base unit, it is a cobra 19gtl, i will give it to you if you want...The guys i have spoken to use a vhf marine hand helds and get good receive and transmit ranges ,, let me know,, if you want it ,, and you can also get the 30-06 dies that i have been carring around in the car waiting to give them to you with you

Go get a K-40 with the magnetic top at the wildwood truck exit. They run about 75.00 and you just slap em' on the top of the cab. They are an awesome antennae for the monet,you should be able to put out 7 or 8 miles easy. 10-4 good buddy,over.
Yeah I forgot he goes up interstate. That CB shop there in Ocala could hook him up
