Well i have been bitten buy this bug called hunting.. Have a friend with some land in riverview who has some hog problems and varmit problems this property isadjacent to some county land that is infested with hogs.
Well now i have built a stand that should be comfortable as well as high.
Its a little heavy but i have the equipment to get it up about 20 ft with noprob.
I wanted a stand that was comfortable and able to be sat in for along time.
You name it will be in it.
( i have a fab shop so materials were laying around.)
The ladder will fully support the front end weight to the ground and the backing will be supported to the tree and strapped as well.
Throw some camo covering and a overhead and walla. HEAVY WEIGHT STYLE !!!
Gonna need a cherry picker to set that thing :eek
I had some friends that got a few of those 2 man gorilla stands,I think it took four men to set them up. One of them got left in the woods.That's a nice stand your building but after you shoot a few of those hogs out of it they will avoid the spot. You may want to invest in a ground blind or something lighter so you can adjust your hunting locations as neccasary.
