Keep this in mind.
Bear archery makes some really high quality bows BUTTTTTT!!!!!!!!, The strings they use are the absolute worst in the world. they almost never stop stretching. .What strings are they using that are so bad???
I know they were using Zebra strings , but what about now? I have had Bear bows and not really noticed stretch.
Now Mathews on the other hand has absolute garbage strings. I know one dealer who refuses to sell them because they are not willing to fix their string issue
Actualy it was mathews that was useing the zebras and still do. bear did use them but only for a short time. Theyve been useing vaportrails for a while and I cant understand why as a private individual you get a quality string from them but the bow companies get crap. pearson used them for a while and had the same problem but now theyre useing crackers ( wise choice). The ones that realy screwed up was hoyt when they switched to fuse, a good way to flush a good reputation down the drain. Last year I watched Eric replace the string and cable on the same Katera 3 times in one month ( loop serving kept coming undone) the guy switched to winners choice and hasnt had any problems
well my bow has a tech twist winners choice.
well my bow has a tech twist winners choice.
Then I guess the rumors I heard were true. If thats the case youll never have to worry about stretch. those are without a doubt IMO the best strings money can buy. theres no " break in" period needed. your ready to go with that set.
Thanks for the info.. I think you should appologize to martinarcher.. but thats on you. Thanks rackman..
I thought Bear was using Winners choice. That and Vapor trail have the best reviews on archerytalk.com
