Do any of you guys use a Camelbak while hunting? I'm thinking of getting one this year especially for archery. It's still hot in October and I'm sick of dropping my water bottle from my stand.
I bought a cheap one from walmart a long time ago and it leaked the first time I used it. Was wondering if I pay the extra $$ for the brand name product, will it leak on me?

I use the heck out of mine. I got one at WalMart that came with a nice back pack and the bladder in it.

Here is a piece of advice. DO NOT put anything in it except water. The sugars in sports drinks will turn into mofongo if its not all rinsed out. I had to throw away the first bladder due to that

I use mine moreso in scouting preseason stuff than I do in season, but I do use it some in archery

I use one as well during the entire season. It is the basspro/redhead model and comes with some storage options, I keep all of my accesories and food in it for an all day sit instead of my pockets. I have mounted a gps and fixed blade to the shoulder straps and have used bungee starps to tie my heavy jacket to it if I am in for a long walk in really cold weather.

What about when you're sitting against the tree in your stand. Does leaning against it cause it to leak? I think I'm going to invest in one this year.

I always hang it from the tree just behind me so that I can still reach the hose for drinking.
