had a client call about a hog hunt. proceeded to tell me he wanted to use a PS-90. it fires that 5.7x??. anyways i know the bluetip round for that is a hornady bullet. and that caliber has about the same specs as a .22mag. i thinking probably no more than 50yd shots. what do y'all think. and if anyone is wondering i know that gun has a high capacity mag, but on semi autos I only allow 5 rounds in the weapon. it also has the factory glass which i believe is just a fixed 4x.
the way most of the people shoot you might need to get him like 10 feet away.. lol
yes, it does. not sure. talked to my buddy that owns a gun shop here in S. Tampa. He said it should do fine. just not to shoot any farther than 50 yds. so we will see.
being close to the air force base, i've run the gammit with guys hunting with assault rifles. alot of .223 i was impressed with the wounds on a 150 lbs hog a guy shot with an ar that chambered the 6.8. was shooting hornady rounds. behind the shoulder and that hog took 3 steps and it was over.
lol.. i carry a ruger 10/22 in my truck with cci stingers. ive learned if your gonna shooot .22 and you dont got a magnun you seriously need the cci stingers or its like shooting a bb gun.. lol
