Been using them mounts for awhile now... They are awesome......
I got home from the woods and my DNZ mounts were here. Opened them up, and they sent me LOW mounts. I specifically ordered mediums. I put them on and slapped a temporary scope on there to see if it would fit. Ends up it will work just fine with a 40mm scope, but there is not much room for margin of error. You will definitely will need mediums or highs for anything bigger than a 40mm bell. Gonna be buying a new scope in the next couple days
that scope height looks perfect. I can't get over how easy they are to install.
love the DNZ mounts on my omega also. If I ever replace the leupold mounts on my 300 it'll be to the DNZ.
I would get the NEF/H&R single shot. I have seen and held the Rossi combo guns, and in my opinion they are sorta Mickey Mouse looking. The H&R's are a good, durable gun and shoot well. I have one in 25-06 that I got on here and it has become one gun I enjoy carrying nowadays
