I am looking for an ugly 500 to do my own damage to in an attempt to customize. So in essence I am not looking to pay retail, this is a project. I have cash to purchase and would like almost any 1911. Along with the cash I have a like new 16gb black iPhone 4 I can trade with if interested.

the maverick models are identical to and made by M.B., only difference is they have a trigger safety instead of a tang safety. all parts are interchangeable with a mdl 500 and they used to go new (recently for 150-200$) from places like Dicks. if you plan on cutting the bbl (a smith can do a nice job for app 35$), or U can diy, add a pistol grip for home defense.zip tie a piece of pvc to your bed frame and use it for a scabbard. put a 18-24" bbl with screw in chokes and you got a turkey/hog/deer gun. see I don't ALWAYS reccomend the most expensive BUT I wouldn't mind a benneli m-4 or a saiga.

again i have a mossberg made for sears. has 2 barrels, wood stock. could definitely be modified by someone who knows better than me. i will let it go for 175.
