Does any one have a remmington 870 side saddle scope mount they would like to part with. My gun is actually a mossberg 3000 made by howa but from my research it is a 870 clone so I need as local as possible so I can try and see if it lines up.
yea I saw that but my gun is actually a mossberg model 3000 made by howe for mossberg. there is no actual mount for that gun. I think it is a remmington 870 clone but I dont know if that mount will fit and dont feel like dealing with shipping if it doesnt fit
as I recall I have the same one il2h posted, fits a m.b. mdl 500 and others. not quite getting you. if as you say they do not make 1 for your gun why ask for 1 that fits a rem 870? only way to find out if it fits is to try it. I've got mine out in the garage somewhere if youre near Spring Hill and want to see how it lines up/fits let me know. one of those things I'll never want or use until I get rid of it. a 1/2 decent way to attatch a scope, not as good as cantelever or reciever based but OK for turkey and slugs I suppose.
Mossberg 3000 is supposed to be a reminton 870 clone. But that does not mean it is identical. I tried a remmington 1000 mount and it lined up but the screws are to big.
