Got this yesterday for making my own fishing weights and potentially bullets (I have some old bullet molds). I just got done paying 2 $ for a 4 oz slip sinker. Now to watch ebay for some old sinker and bullet molds. If some of you folks have any and are willing to part with them for a reasonable price, PM me.

I am also looking for melting lead too.

Go to a tire shop and they will usually give away buckets of tire weights

I have no personal experience but I have been told that tire weights should not be used for bullets because of the poor quality of lead. I am sure fishing sinkers would be fine. I was doing research for muzzle loading bullets, and constantly heard don't use tire lead.
