The black one is a Garmin GPS 12cx. It is an older model and was the first to come with a color screen.
The only thing wrong is it gives a message of memory battery low. As long as you keep batteries in the unit and they dont go dead for any period of time, you will not lose your stored info. There is an internal battery that needs to be replaced. Instructions on how to do it can be found online.
Other is a basic model Etrex.
Neither one are map compatible, just units to get you from point A to point B. Carry cases come with each one

that eTrex is what i use, its almost like the backtrack except it holds tons of way points. just no map or anything fancy on it but it definitely gets the job done :toast
