that gun definately needs some TLC. is that a crack I see on the underside of the forend just in front of the ser#? it would be an involved project, but worth it in the end. a complete reblue and stock repair/refinish,as well as give the insides a good going over. sorry I'm gonna pass for now no money/no time right now.
OK group, the Browning was priced at $350 based on local suggestions. What is it worth? I am open to reasonable offers (and/or trades).
how about a trade for a maverick 12 gauge pump in good condition 95%, I could set it up as a home defense gun with 18" barrel and pistol grip, or full synthetic stock with 28" vent rib bbl with accuchoke, choke tube of your choice? I would need to get a closer look at the browning first however. the maverick has been hardly used, no rust/no pitting.
Thanks nacho grande, but I actually have 2 12ga Maverick's for sale as well as a Mossberg 500 with tactical stock. They did not make the list because I thought it was a hunting site and I have a lot of local interest. I am keeping my 12ga Maverick with high cap mag and pistol grip for my home defense gun. Long guns don't fit in my new condo. I do have room for lots of handguns.
sorry Barma, got my handun battery trimmed down to the bare essentials 10 guns, and regret selling the last 2 . still got 2- vintage colt diamond backs 22 and 38 cal and 2 pythons 4" and 6" in 357, and a 480 redhawk or freedom arms 454 on my wish list.
