All I know is what my wife tells me I don't know...
I'm in that same boat and is her list LONG. HAHAHA
Yeah, N.G., the Diamondback and Sccy are both little pocket autos built along the lines of the Keltec, just as the Ruger LCP is. The Sccy brand is made in Daytona Beach, and was supposedly started by a guy who was an engineer or something similar for Keltec and thought he could do better. It's only available in 9mm. Diamondbacks I believe are made in Cocoa Beach or Melbourne, and have a more Glock-like appearance. I've never held or shot one, so I have no real opinion of them except what I've read online. I did look at the Sccy at a gun show a few months ago, and it didn't seem too bad. The one I held didn't have any rough machining or edges, the slide was smooth, trigger not too bad, mag disengaged and dropped then snapped right back in the gun. Of course it's hard to tell the true quality of a gun until you actually put some bullets downrange of various types and see what feeds, what fails, etc.
I was pretty hesitant at first to buy the Hellcat, but for some reason I decided I needed to try one of these little guns. I had actually went to the Royal Tiger website to look at some Polish 9X18 "Makarov" pistols they have. Turned out not to be true Maks, but a Polish clone of the Walther PP, and supposedly not nearly as good a deal as the real Maks.
