Anyone know of a good gunsmith anywhere near Tampa? I have a Mini-14 that I need to have the scope mount holes retapped on.
buggered em up huh, shoulda come huntin with us, rain wasn't bad at all. turned out to be just an info gathering fieldtrip though. think another hunter got one on the side of the pond I wanted to hunt ,but we left him his space. wind was a lttle squirrely yesterday though in the pm.I know a few but there up north of you.
I didn't do anything to it, the gun came to me like that, and of course, I wasn't informed. The first time I took it to the range, the scope rail worked itself loose, and I tried some Loctite and it didn't hold. Put about 30 rounds through it yesterday and the rail just popped off again.
I'm fine with driving a little ways for a quality, reasonably priced gunsmith.
how does your scope rail attach to your gun.
