Pat, I'm realy kicking myself for even thinking about this but I haven't bird hunted over dogs in years, my fav shotgun a ruger red label 28 ga o/u with english straight stock and nice wood. very little recoil and will drop up to pheasant at closer ranges, really shines for quail/grouse/woodcock. lightning fast to bring up to the shoulder, is light and easy on the ears, great for women and kids.

that went quick.do you know if it was pre-ban with the bayonet lug and flash supressor? gunboy buy it? I know n.o.m.b. just curious. already have the ak but would like to have all the bases covered in terms of ammo avail for when the shtf.would have realy missed my o/u, and probly would've gotten an invite to quail hunt the next day anyway.
