I hate a thief
that sucks... I hate thiefs too.... one time a guy tried steal my rifle out of my car and i caught his axx, Bxxxx at him instead of calling cop. Hope he learned his lesson....
find him. kill him. and dig a hole for him
i would def tell the law about the letter. could definitely be your man.
Seems to me the theft and the letter are not related. The thief was a tresspasser once I don't think they would hesitate in tresspassing again,Criminals usally don't ask permission .
You can turn the letter over to the investgater,can't hurt

kinda agree with reaper, a thief/trespasser doesn't strike me as the letter writing type. even if it was him there is no concrete evidence and doubt the police would follow up, and would not want to insult or cast aspersions on an honest guy asking permission.
