Mr.LoLo how did that visit to RR go?....Are we a member?..... :taz
I ended not going after having a conversation with someone I know who owns property there. Still considering it for camping.
By the way, after reading the "Beware - Leases to stay away from. !!!" thread, River Ranch and WMAs don't look like a bad option after all. :clown Not too long of a drive and if you have to deal with Cra$%^ anyways and getting limited or no game, why pay a lot of money for that. :clown
Reason i asked is cause i live rite down road from it (less than 20 miles)and i've been out there with friend a few times but not for hunt'n....Been out there just ride'n round on buggy, and depend'n on the weekend their can be a bunch of people out there.....Some even live out there year round....I have a piece of RR out there sumwhere,i've never actually ask'd anybody in charge of place or check'd into it but from what i hear they do have place's that are OFF Limit's to buggy's,4 wheeler's,etc....They have section's for dog hunter's,still hunter's,etc....My tax's on my 1/4 acre out there is less than $5.00 a year, but if you become a member out there and get a camp site last i herd the annual fee is around $75.00....
Actually the yearly RRPOA dues are $120 yr. You have to own land in order to camp and they sell at different prices. Now, I'm guessing that if you already own property, by joining the RRPOA you can use all the "ammenities".
You probably know this websites, but just in case
