Finding a good club is hard and may take a couple of years to do it but in my opinion when you do its the best investment you can make. If it were just about the hunting I would just hunt the wmas around my house, but its about the whole experience of hunting camp. When you find the right group of guys on the right property you will make friends for life. I was very lucky and some would say spoiled because my dad raised me hunting in clubs in South Carolina and I still talk to most of those guys to this day even though they are 20 or more years older than I am. I have extremely fond memories of hunting camp and try to make more each year. I will always be on the lookout for that perfect club if it exsists, but in the meentime I will enjoy where I am everytime I go.
thats it join one and see how it goes. like milkman says try them out and if you don't like it move on to another.
Crock, sounds like you have been there before!
Yep.
with the way things have been economy wise, it is possible to find a smaller piece of property (150 - 250 acres) in georgia for the price of a membership of a N. florida club. then you make the rules. lol. and no BS. i have been doing that for about 6 years now. and love it.
I just checked out their site and realized we are only a few miles from their property.
