Probably rabid feral coy-dogs!
Best not to take any chances!
Blast 'em before they come make a new Discovery Channel series...
Based on those photos, the deer do not seem to mind the dogs at all. I have seen some differing opinions on free roaming dogs, what is everyone's experince with the issue. Do they chase the game off or do they get them up and moving around? I have never run into this issue before.
Taste just like goat. Just saying. :bbq LOL
Concerning the dogs on your lease, years ago we were in the cow business and had an issue with neighborhood dogs running young calves. A visit with the "common sense" Sheriff of the county yielded this bit of advice: "Keep your mouth shut and do what you have to do, if the dog owners really cared about their dogs they wouldn't be running loose. If you make an effort to talk with them and they aren't man enough keep the dogs under control and then you do what you have to do, you have potentially opend a flood gate of problems!" (We all know in todays politically correct world, a dog has more rights than a man.)
Back to more pleasant issues, great pictures especially the one with the crows. How much feed are you putting out this time of the year? Looks like there is plenty of browse in the back ground.
I wont be feeding them here shortly. I just spread a bag of corn on the ground to see what I was dealing with on this new piece of land. They have all sorts of food to eat right now. Just makes getting a few pictures easier.

We had to deal with neighborhood dogs a few years ago on a piece in Georgia and it sucked. Besides the barking all the time while running deer, they keep the deer on alert. My buddy had one that would come over to his climber and just lay down and sleep while he was in the tree. Nothing worse than hearing something coming through the brush behind you to then see a couple dogs just walking through the woods. We let those dogs live but I ain't dealing with these problems again, I can promise you that. Goat huh? :bbq
