Any clubs out there with any openings? I would love to join a club in the North Eastern area of the state. If any clubs have a website, that URL would be greatly appreciated as well. Thank you.
I doubt you will find anything this late into the season. I see you are from Jville. This one is not too far from you.
My best friend and his family are in it and have done very well over the years

There is also Phillips pasture in Lake City. They usually have a couple openings
Both very good leases
I was a member of Buck and Boar for 18 years and the guy that runs it took every ones money and what used to be 12,000 acers turned into 1700 acers of pure sh_t ground this year. Said he did not have the money for the whole club because he has been loosing money over the past four years. So he basicly screwed all of the members at the week before achery, sent out a letter and every one had to move off there sites and go over to the 1700 acers and fight for a spot. So all feeders had to be moved, all the time and money invested in corn and dues lost. He basicly did what I call a club bankrupcy, took everyones money pocketed it and had the balls to tell everyone that if they wanted back in next year to have your 1500.00 dollars at the end of the season and he would try and get our land back. This is a straite up thief as far as I am concerned, he has the balls to advertise rite now in woods and waters that he is takeing deposites and showing property that he does not even have leased are you kidding me( Billy Todd) is his name and I used to consider him a friend. Friends don't screw people over like this........this guy does not deserve to ever run a hunt club ever. Please spread the word so know one gets screwed again.
I cannot tell everyone how pissed all this crap has made me......I have a camp there and now it has to be moved. I wanted to let everyone know about this so they don't get dupped like the loyal members did that payed up every year. I told him that I wanted my money back and he did give me 600.00 of the 1500.00 that I payed this year so turkey season costed me 900.00 dollars. WOW thanks.........had to go and find another club and drop another grand, find new spots and all that stuff........this guy is not to be trusted. He told us that it is a business and if he makes money thats on him and if he looses money thats on him......well thats a lie because we all lost.....he runs the place like it is his personal hunting ground, this not a club it is a dictatorship. Al of the good spots he take and all the rules benfit him.
That one shot has some RULES!!! No thanks.
