Thanks for the input. I have been looking at the gamelands around. guess I will start looking into some of the clubs in N. Florida, everything I had seen around is crazy priced. I guess I am really going to miss having family land to hunt back in NC.
I did some research and decided to just buy some land to hunt on.
I found a place south of Orlando that I like and is in the process of buying.
It's mostly brush and pines with couple oaks and is only 11.8 acres but most importantly it is located between a WMA and an orange grove.
On the west side is a WMA and just 110 yards away on the east side is an large orange grove with a canal on the back.
With the price of leases being what it is, just few years of lease payment will pay off this land.
A guy who owns 12 acres in front of me said he purchased his land for same reason three years ago... to hunt on.
He said there are plenty of hogs moving between the grove and the WMA and some turkey and deers.
Best of all it's less than 90 minutes from my house and 70 minutes from my work.

Definately the best option if you have the credit and income to buy property. We are looking for 50-100 acres in GA for the same reasons and moving back to GA at the earliest possible time.....
