in florida even a spike is good.. now up north is s different story.

it depends on what part of FL you are hunting, hardee county has a great herd of deer. seems to be a lot of large bucks over there. i went up to jasper last weekend to check out a lease, it had lots of potential. the leaseholder was not interested in managing the deer population or quality of deer taken.
