Not in Florida here but keep looking at places near or borders acerage down there.
I hunt on a piece of private land owned by someone that goes to my church. It's approx 150 acres with 75 of it being pasture for about 75 head of cattle. He has 5 tripod stands a big house stand and 5 feeders. Problem is, it butts up against a huge hunting lease which is up against Green Swamp WMA. In 15 years he's only seen a handful of deer there, but it's torn up with hogs apparently. He has some traps out and gets hogs now and then. I've only been hunting it this season so far and haven't seen anything yet. He isn't maintaining the feeders and I'm not sure if they are working or not. I'm tight on time between work and family, so for now I'll just hunt it for hogs but when things settle down I'm going to figure out the feeder thing and try and get it attracting some deer.
Sounds like a good loction to me if you could get to hunt GS wma and use his land for access!
your problem is there is probably too many hogs, i had the some problem we thinned out the hogs and now there is a lot more deer . iv seen 13 deer so far this year . we did this two years ago. and we have one nice 8 point and two six points that i know of ....safe huning
