Very nice. By the way, you don't "replace the clear coat", you get a new paint job on the parts affected!
i have bridgestone dueller M/T on mine, they are great. i have also had the BFG M/T on my vehicles and they have been decent. the good thing about a jeep is they are light and the tires wear well on them. on road or off. does it still have the carpet in it or not? i would rip the carpet out and rhino line it that way you can just spray it out when it gets nasty.
Really good choice HogDaddy TJ's are nice, you will be alot happier with that 4.0 compared to the 2.5. As for tires I think you can fit a 30" maybe a 31" tire i'd look into the bfg km2 mud tires, good offroad and good ride on the street

That's funny on the clear coat. The guy i bought it from was a "used car salesman" and he was poo pooing the paint job. personally, i was thinking about painting it camo !!!!
Yeah, the salesmen want you to think it's no big thing until you try to get them to throw it in as part of the deal! I had a paint & body business for a few years after I got out of the USAF in 1995. If I had known back then that it would take another 10 years or more for all the car makers to wise up and put a decent clear coat on their cars, I'd have specialized in repainting cars with damaged clear. Once the clear is bad enough to delaminate from the base coat, then the base coat (especially metallics) is damaged.
It's like getting a bad sunburn and your skin starts peeling after a few days. I don't care how much lotion or aloe you use, that dead sunburned skin is coming off.
Nitto Terra grapplers A/Ts good off road and my last set I got 70K miles on them.could have got more but was going on a trip and wanted new tires for trip in snow and ice.There not loud when on hwy and pull very good for a A/T tire. now you need a lift and 35s
I'll second the Terra Grapplers. They rated #1 in Consumer Reports' A/T tire test. Yes, the even beat out the BFGs. I have them on my 4Runner and couldn't be happier.
