no it;s not. on mp3;s u can only listen to music. this u can listen to music and wach videos. alot more stuff

If you got good eyesight, you can upload movies to MP4 players and watch em. But you gotta be careful, cus an average movie is a full gigabyte, and most players will only play like 4 hours of video on a single charge. BUT, if you "rip" CDs on your computer using Windows Media Player to MP4, you can upload them to the Zune using the Zune software. Which, in my opinion, is the only downside to the Zune.
