Worn them things for up to 18 hours straight on a south Georgia flightline in the summer. Brings back great memories! Thanks!

now it probably cant fit on your calf if you extended the zipper.. lol :cheers

Ditto. No chance I'll fit in one either. Last time I wore one a them "lead sleds" was during the first stages of Dessert Shield before Dessert Storm. I thought they were miserable in Frankfurt. In the sand and heat those things are worse than havin to wear sandpaper skivvies in August in Flamingo.

Those old flak vests make a decent pillow/noise reducer while riding in the back of a C-141 for 14 hours.
