once they are properly broken in and cared for correctly ( and these are ) they get a patina to them that is kinda like a teflon coating and virtualy impossible to rust the inside cooking surfaces, some of the un treated outer surfaces of like the pot lifter may pick up a little surface rust, but it comes right off with steel wool and doesn't affect use, but these are in good shape, heavy as hell but bombproof, and you can use them in your kitchen stove as well. I would make dinner in the big pot and desert in the small one, can even cook on the lids. every covered wagon heading west had one hanging under it to carry coals from the previous nites fire. put a pork shoulder in it cover in coals over and under when you leave camp, let it go all day and when you get back dinner is served. impossible to overcook, low n slow, and once hot retains heat a long time. you live close enough come by and see them.

I may take you up on that. I'll be gone the next few days though. If you still have them when I get back I'll try and get ahold of you.

rangefinder sold. dutch ovens still available, ( not the kind where you hold the covers over your wifes head in bed after you fart) anyone doing any salmon/steelhead or cold weather duck hunting, still have a complete neoprene outfit fly vest steelhead rod/reel for sale.
