I know what you mean. I am saving my doe tag for him and will let him get one at my lease later this season. Hopefully I can film it too
I think being with my son when he killed his first buck was just as big a high for me as when I killed my monster or my first bow killed buck. I brought him on his first bayed hog last year and that was a blast,I got him to it but the dogs were all over it so he couldn't shoot. Then it broke and bayed again in a dry pond about 50' around.What a perfect scene,I wish I had a video caera. He tried getting a shot but was to nervous and shaky then it couldn't take no more and busted thru the dogs like a bowling ball made a small loop and I shot it point blank.All I could see was 3' hi gallberries spreading like a little dozer was going thru it then he was right on top of us.
Maybe this year he'll get a few porkers. Maybe with a knife.
Yeah it's part og doggin' when they catch them you can't shoot them.You either tie em' up or stick em'.
