The prod is 130lbs, the wood is American Cherry, and has approx 1040 in/lbs of energy when fired.

Did you mean 104lbs? The barnett ghost only shoots 151 ft lbs, and that's top of the line mack daddy crossbow

Maybe the rules are different here or the front gate person doesn't know but i've had a few non hunters with no WMA stamp with me on WMA's this year while scouting and the only thing they asked was how many guns I had with me. I didn't say I was scouting either, So as far as they knew I was hunting.
I even had a guest during the first 9 days quota, And no issues at all.

This was at Camp Blanding WMA

The prod when pulled all the way back to full draw is 130lbs. The string movement is 8" if you multiply that times the poundage, you get 1040 INCH pounds. Dont confuse that with Foot pounds, which is 87 foot pounds. All though I am not sure the 151 ft/lbs from the barrnett ghost is the same type of measurement as what I did because the Ghost is a compound pully wheel system and this is a recurve type prod.

Anyways has tons of energy and buries the bolts into the broadhead target at 20 yards, and I have to pull them thru the back-side of the target.
