Question for you guys. What would you do if you went to your hunt property and found a extra lock on your gate. Then you head back to a stand location and find a brand new feeder set up. Could not find a blind, stand or climber marks, but you have a stand that over looks the area. What say yall ?

If the lock kept me from getting in I would remove it, as for the feeder I would put a nice note on it asking them to call me. I actually had something like that happen and the other hunter and I became friends and now we share stands and feeders and it has actually worked out really well.

What do you mean by "your hunt property"? A hunting lease? Private land? Family land? My reaction would be different for all of them.

bellyacher,
If you are the only one on the lease, somebody needs to explain why their feeder is on your lease. If your in a club lease, more than likely y'all have some kind of rules that needs reviewing. We all use the same lock on our lease so a new lock might be a little suspicious.(Actually there are several locks on one gate, timber company, power company, Nature Conservancy and the club lock) Somebody other than the land owner may have sold hunting rights to somebody that didn't know any better (scam). Lots of possibilities, hopefully just a misunderstanding. By all means keep your cool!
