What gun to take?

for me a 12 ga and a couple barrels is never a bad thing to have as a backup ( or primary ), of the 3 you mentioned it sounds like you answered your own question the, marlin.do you have anything else? I would usualy bring 3 guns 2 scoped, one for under 200yds, 1 for over 200 and an open sighted lever or shotgun for everything else or poor weather or if likely to get abused. have fun and be safe.
