everybody simmer down now i thought the point of the forum was to be able to ask questions and get informed but maybe i was wrong i guess only certain people are allowed to ask questions and i must not be one of them

you can ask any questions you like. that is what we are all here for. i think the problem is / was that the question you asked there really wasn't a good way to answer it. calibers and gages are 2 different things. measured in different ways. shooting that smooth bore slug gun, you should feel confident out to about 50 yds maybe alittle more. practice, practice and more practice. aim small--miss small.

No figured as much just don't have much experience with the rifled slug barrel that's why I asked because I plan on usin it in field I'm new to the whole hog and Florida hunting thing so I gots a lots o questions

missed the "rifled " slug barrel part. heck man, 100 yds all day long . just need to put in the range time. practice makes perfect. a well placed shot with a slug, anything in Florida is going down. :clap :clap
