Some various pictures I snapped with my cell during the hunt last week. The weather was horrible, to put it mildly. The first morning was great. We saw deer and the weather was cool.
Had a doe & 2 yearlings feed under me for an hour. Caught a cramp in my arse from not being able to move and not spook them

One of our box stands. This thing is super for a kid to sit in. Can't wait to get my boy up there. There is a HUGE boar coming to this feeder and is running everything off. I saw him the first sit, and he is pushing 300# easy. Just didn't get a clear shot. He circled the feeder almost completely windchecking. He knew something wasn't right and would not come on in. I want him out of there bad so other game has a chance to feed there

Hogs under my feeder one afternoon about 30 min before dark(prime time). There were 10 of them. I threw my grunt call, water bottle, and scent a way bottle at them and could not run them off. They finally left when the last piece of corn was vacuumed up. Could have killed any of them 10 times over. This was at like 10 yards

A pine edge I put a stand on. I got an 8, a 7, 2 spikes, and several does on cam here. I grunted in one of the bigger spikes here. I can only hunt this spot on a SW or W wind, so I was only able to sit it one time. This fog did not lift till after 10AM. At times I could not see 30 yards

Another spot I found. A little finger of a hammock that sticks out into a clearcut. Beat down with deer sign and a pod of live oaks raining acorns. If you look close you can see a fresh scrape on the ground. Sat it 2 times 35' up in my climber and didn't see anything. I freshened up the scrape and put a cam on it

And finally, a new corner of our property we explored. This section has not had humans in it in months. We put up a couple ground blinds and sat them that afternoon. I saw hogs and abig ole nanny doe that afternoon. The light area in the far end of the pic is an OLD loggin road that has about 15 fresh rubs on it in about a 75 yard stretch
