An update...
I still have not shot a turkey yet. I've tried for 3 weeks and saw a lot of turkeys but most were hens and few toms I did see were too far to shoot. I got one tom within 30 yards of me coming at my decoy but he figured something wasn't right and took a quick right turn before I could shoot. I managed to get several hens within 10 yards of me couple times so my camo seems effective.
I noticed that toms are more alert than hens and they usually hang out alone or in small groups of 3 or 4. Never saw hens and toms together. I'm going to continue to try as it's becoming a obsession to get one tom for the pan.
On the positive side, hogs have come back.

Get a slate call and learn to purr with light clucks. This is the go to call to get them from that 30-50 yards to within a good distance. Scratch the leaves with this call and he shouldnt resist....
This time of year your not going to see hens and Tims together. They are flocked up hens with hens and toms together. That's why the decoys and hen yelps aren't working on the toms. Gobblers yelp also its deeper and slower than hens also they clucks. This time of year gobbler yelps and clucks is the calling you need to be doing and very little of that and no decoy. Or wait till march for the real fun of turkey hunting.
Spent past three mornings in the blind waiting and looking for turkeys.
I'm still getting a lot of hens but almost no toms (22 hens and 2 toms in pasy 3 days).
The decoys I have seems to work, or atleast not scare them off as I've seen them as close as 10 yards from me and next to decoys.
I'm still not using any calls.
I think I'll have a chance at harvesting a tom next month.
