Hey guys just wondering what your perference for treestands are climbers , hang-ons , or ladder ? I am thinking of buying a new climber stand my old ones are kind of heavy so thinking about go lighter . Which climbers do you think are the most comfortable and lightest. Any opinions on the Ol' Man treestands ? Thanks !
I'm a fan of the Summit aluminum Viper. I started hunting with a Baker, then switched to the original steel Summit, which I still use. But the aluminum Viper is quiet, roomy and comfortable.
Summit :flag2
just stuck a crowbar in the wallet and ordered the cd1 harness in big boy size for 169$ and free shipping from outdoor shopping network. if I'm gonna do something stupid may as well try and do it safely. if it weren't so dam flat and thick cover I'd probly hunt from a blind. did like that idea of a low platform though, just high enough to give some visability, safer shooting angle and get away from the creepy/crawlies.
I also started with a baker stand then went to asteel summit called sabre any on remember those but today I use API grand slam its the most user friendly one I,ve ever usedonthing I really like about the API is they use rubberized chains instead of cables
they grip the tree better
