Here is a spot I set up in my lease. This is at the end of a dead end road. Obviously this stand is very close to the feeder. It is going to be devoted to me and my kid. I figure at 20 yards to the feeder, and a massive trail coming out at 10 yards, he can't miss from there. I might hunt it during archery, but it will more than likely only get used when he is with me. My tripod stand is about 150 yards down the road the other way(eventually I want to build a box stand there). I can watch the hammock real good, and stretch my rifle barrel down to the feeder from there

Looking at the stand

At about 80 yards looking down road

And a gravity feeder for a little bonus

My experience has been that once you establish a stand site and it produces, it will continue to produce till something big changes Bambi's world, like timber harvesting. Got one stand that has 30 notches cut in the window sill another with more than 20 knotches. They generally do the same thing year after year.
That is a fine lookin' site you have shown us, Iluv2hunt, especially the place where you have improved your child's chances of connecting. Treefarmer
