Last you posted you were looking for tracks. Did ya'll get anything up yet? A good race at least! Some of us' deer season is already over so we need a fix!
The only buck we've seen today was one 4pt or so. My driver(riding with a buddy) shot at him but we couldn't find any blood and they can out on the other side of the block running a doe. We looked everywhere where they broke down at but didn't find any blood or any sign. The 4pt crossed on me around 60 yds away the first time we saw it and I couldn't get on him in tiime for a good shot. I think the buck ran out there and squatted in a pond.
All the rest of the races have been does.
We killed an 8pt yesterday that has outsmarted us many times this yr. We killed his runnin buddy (a 6pt) a few weeks ago and let him get away. We killed a 5pt today too and they killed a 3pt on Friday. He's a pic of the 8pt

Lease- Camp Misery in Taylor County. I think we ended the yr with 15 bucks in front of dogs and killed the most of all the crews in the club. It was still a disappointing year (for all the surrounding clubs too) and we really had to work hard for them.
It's bittersweet now that it's over. I have been burnt out on deer hunting for awhile but I know I'll be missing it soon. It's time to shoot some tree rats and have some puppies though.
