I hunted yesterday afternoon and had a good buck so close to me I could hear him breathing. He was following 2 does with his nose to the ground around 5 yds from me but I couldn't manage to turn and get a shot. This was a good reminder to maintain my shooting lanes as next year I won't forget to trim the lane to my right again :pinch. I'm going to try my luck there again on Friday and maybe Saturday afternoon.

Well I'm not any help to the team anymore. I missed a 5pt and then a 4pt both chasing does from 25 yds this morning. I'm so disgusted that I'm skipping the afternoon hunt to watch the bama/florida game with friends.

Me too. My wife aggravated me enough so I just gave in. The game sucked and florida needs another leader like tebow.
I let a buck get away from me this mornin right at daylight. I think it was the 5pt I missed yesterday. Someone put dogs out in the next block over and he slipped back off into the swamp when he heard the dogs opening.
