Well I knicked a small 4pt yesterday and couldn't get a shot at a 5pt. Then this morning I missed the same 4pt again. Then I had a bigger 4pt come in and I didn't stand up in time and spooked him off. I saw 6-7 deer each morning and saw 1 doe yesterday at a different stand and ran another deer off as I was getting down at dark. The morning hunts are good but the evening hunts are like sitting in a sauna. I walked up on a 200 lb boar yesterday morning bedded down 10 ft from my stand and had 2 nearly kick him to move so I could get to my stand. He came right back in at 9am and spooked the 5pt so I've determined he must die...

First blood after some goof ups :toast . Double lung at 20 yds, watched him fall. I could have shot the 4pt with him but I decided not to press my luck and have to clean 2 deer on a Sunday night.
