Got my first deer EVER!. As many of you know i mainly hunt hogs. But i decided to give this deer a dirt nap seeing that its about all the deer i had coming to my stand. Spike!
I had 20 hogs literally running past my stand because i recently rebuilt my feeder setup and put it 10 foot up and i had my scent all over the place. So i saw them coming in and drew back facing the corn and one of the big ones saw me and they redirected away from me. So i sat down with the bow in my hand waiting for them to come back. I was sending text messages to some friends telling them i had a pack literally come running through and i look up and this buck is standing there looking right at me at like 10 yards. So i just froze. I left two pines right in front of my stand so if i saw anything coming i had time to set up with the bow at draw with out them seeing me. So this deer moves in front of the pines. SO im like "dam a bow shot might hit a branch". So i slowely put the bow back on the holder and reach the 3030 on my right hook. Drop it and get it right in sight and the deer had no idea. I aimed and it dropped right where it stood.

thanks nacho!.. i was pretty happy.. i was so happy i was on the road and had the deer on the back of the 4 wheeler and the bow on the front in the case.. hit a dam pothole and the beer hit me on the back and the bow case fell down and i ran over it.. LOL.. thank got for the bow case.. lol
sounds like youre still happy, so what hit you, the deer or THE BEER? LOL. enjoy the rush and have a couple cold ones when youre not driving.and who said you could wash the blood off yet?
