Got in th Etand about 4:30. Seen 10 does and yearlings and 1 small spike. Sitting on a rub line. Hoping big boy shows up soon. :archer
Just got my wet azz back home. It started to rain about 45 min. before dark and poured! Only the 1 spike today but I'll be there Thurs. afternoon again and give it another go. I don't think I went 20 min. without a deer in sight till it rained. :cool2
Went out Sat. and got in the stand by 6am and sat all day. Had 6 does come in. One stayed within 40 yds.of me for hours and then bedded down at 30. Had a nice shooter 8 come in and got spooked by the doe and never got closer than 60 yds. Moved my stand about 30 yds. closer and figured today was gonna be the day. Got in the stand by 6 and sat til 12. Didn't see :sheet all day. Oh well. Opener on the lease is 6 days away! :clap :archer
OK boys. Truck is loaded with boat shoes and Budweiser! :rockon Heading to the lease at 3am sharp. Gonna set up my climber, fill a feeder on another side of the property, check my cams and pour a stiff rum and coke to get ready for Saturday!
