just put my cam up today.. got a d50 IR .. thats all i could get my hands on .. deer been active alot at 3 am.
All you could find? I just bought 2 of the WGI IR-2 cams Friday from BPS for $49 each. I know, 2 megapixel, but they're cheap enough that if they grow legs and walk away while they're in the woods, I won't have to sell a kidney to get new ones.

I wish I could pop a couple bears cause we're covered up with them it seems. They'll get a pass and maybe 1 day the state will open a season on them. :rolleyes
No kidding. I can't see how the state can say that they are endangered or threatened, especially up near Tyndall AFB in Bear Creek. They're so thick there, that I have personally watched 6 different bears lumberin thru my old lease goin from feeder to feeder (all the feeders were 3/4 mile or more apart). The conditions up there support bears well, with some of the areas in the planted pines being so thick and swampy with all kinds of wild berries, and food. Some areas of my old lease were so impassible that if you wanted to actually go back in, you either needed a chainsaw, or be fearless enough to get down on your hands and knees and crawl/swim thru the deep dark crap dodgin hogs and snakes, which is exactly where the bears like to live.

Randy was there today and checked one of my cam's and said I've got a bunch of does everyday so I'm hoping to put some meat in the freezer pretty quick. :rockon
