There is a gas station just off one of the Lake City exits that has corn in it. We hit it on our way to Madison co instead of driving up there with 500 #s of corn sucking down extra gas. I believe it is a BP, it's on the west side of 75, on the north side of the road, not a quarter mile from the highway.
Picked out a spot behind the house that had some sign. Gonna be wet and loud getting in. Too deep going in for boots so I guess this spot calls for my swamp shoes. I'll head back out there tomorrow and put up a leaner. I'm gonna try and put an arrow in one in the next few days! :rockon
Take a baitcaster with you too.
I saw 6" catfish going in. Looks like a bedding area down a ways to the right. Plenty of tracks about 1/2 way back with the water creating a nice funnel. Biggest problem I've got is there are some gators back here. When I buried the rhino last week I waited 3 hours till 11pm for someone to come drag me back and we had quite a few gators around. Think I'm gonna have to carry the 45 on the way in.
