just got back from home depot getting supplies to make a bigger/better bump feeder, with a false bottom to add scents/marbles, so even if it's empty it will sound/smell like theres still food in it. just trying to decide whether to use dry whole corn or stink corn in it. had all my pvc pieces screwd together and went to the dumbest looking checkout person, even told him "thats 3 diff pieces, he still rung it up as 1 piece ( the cheapest ) saved about 15$$ . I can only be so honest.
DONT PUT STINK CORN IN THE FEEDER... If your gonna mess with stink corn put it directly on the floor.. You need a cam cause i bet its coons and birds eating all your corn.. I have personaly had 2 coons eat 50 lbs of corn in a week.
Hey Nacho in my experience your best bet to pattern pigs is to use a spin feeder with a timer. Bump feeders work but they eat when they feel like it not when you want them to. Plus like crock said coons possums and squirrels will wreck havoc on a bump feeder. If you want it I have a moultrie digital timed feeder you can have for free. It holds around 150 lbs of corn. If you want it Nacho just let me know.

yes and thank you very much, it would be a big help. pm me your address and I'll pick it up. app how much does it weigh?
I mainly use bump feeders to cast dogs on. The 55 gal drum method is cheap, easy to build, easy to set up. Also it holds 300lbs of corn so you don't have to fill very often.
